Visited Les Arcs 1600 in March and December 2007/8 season The Village Arc 1600 was one of the first purpose built ski resorts in the Alps and it benefits from the dreams of those early visionaries. I stayed at the 1950 resort in the Radisson Apartments and it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. I'm not much of a ski resort expert, but I have stayed in some very nice places, 1950 would be in the top 3. It is a wonderful, beautiful place with some excellent restaurants.
