I went with a party of twelve who were a mix of abilities. Fortunately we had loads of new snow so the slopes were in excellent condition. The town is small but has everything you need. Don't go if you are looking for loud music and street parties but the pubs are good and restaurants are reasonable for price and all seem to have extensive menus. From what I could determine, most accommodation is within easy reach of the lifts. Our hotel was only 100 metres from the main chair and a short ski to the gondola. As far as the skiing is concerned, Montgenevre is a paradise for intermediates and the gentle long green run (Crete) from the top of the mountain is brilliant for beginners to learn and
