We went to Les Get by accident, it was fantastic. We skiied in April and the Les Get team worked hard to keep the snow in good condition. The children (ages 6&7) went to British Ski School and went from complete beginner to red runs in five days, it was more expensive than others but worth every last penny as the instructors were brilliant with the children. Booked ski kit from Contat Sports (through snowell.com - Brilliant service) again superb ski to door. Our french hosts at Alpen Sports Hotel were super friendly and we have already booked to go back next year. For what we wanted - a great child friendly family ski holiday you couldnt get any better.

Les gets is a great resort, linked to an amazing ski area. although it is on the edge of the portes du soleil including morzine and avoriaz, getting around the whole ski area is no problem as the lift system is excellent. i have been to this area twice and would still go back as the area is huge. avoid the holiday in feb if you can as the queues are a bit annoying - but not intolerable. check out the mountain biking in the summer too!
