Rauris is a small and quiet resort which really suits us. The skiing is superb with a good selection of runs for beginners and intermediates. There are only 2 black runs so probably not enough for the expert skier. The runs are good pistes but you need to read the mountain map as the runs cross in various places from different levels (i.e. blue red and the black runs).but well posted big wide runs. I would recommend Rauris to young families who can do without a lively nightlife.

Gezellig overzichtelijk familiegebied.

We loved Rauris! We have just spent Christmas week there, learning to ski and generally loving everything about the place! We stayed at the Alpenrose which was dated, but had the friendliest and most accommodating staff. It was also ideally situated on the edge of the village only a short walk (or ski) to the slopes. We learned to ski with Adventure Rauris and found them to be great, particularly with the children. Our kids (aged 11 and 8) are now skiing like they've always known how...progress with the adults in our party was slower (because we were slower learners) but even so we have all improved 100% and are now capable of descending right from the top of the mountain. Not all the instru

We g

Just got back from Rauris after an enjoyable weeks skiing and thought I would leave a few impressions. The resort is a real chocolate box to look at but it is not accesable on skis, there is a ski bus () every half hour but most of the action is up one levl on the slopes. These are accessable by a bubble lift with(in mid march) no queues. The skiing under the bubble is good for early intermediates and the slopes well groomed. Over a trail is another well groomed set of red runs with a long t bar and a 2 man chair which are not difficult but quite steep. good to build the confidence with a long run down to the bus stop. the facilities on the slopes are well run and not too expensive. every on
