Saalbach is a resort not may Americans know about. It is tucked away in its own valley not far from the beautiful resort of Zell am See. The skiing here is some of the best in the Alps. The ski area spreads itself along both sides of the valley. This gives you a variety of ski conditions due to the exposure of the sun. Keep this in mind when skiing the “ski circus” of Saalbach. With fifteen Gondolas and a multitude of lifts, there is always a new adventure to be found on the mountain. The resort has beautiful chalet style restaurants scattered through out the mountain. Skiing is not the only thing to do at Saalbach. The night life is what is to be expected at an Austrian
