I can say that Les 2 Alpes is the best of all resorts out there. The resort always has good snow fall, the snowpark is outstanding (particularly in the summer) and the slopes are perfect for all levels. On top of that the town itslef has a great atmosphere. The locals/staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are an endless amount of places to eat, be they beautiful restaurants or cheap take-aways. Finally, the nightlife is fantastic. Meribel is right in the middle of the largest ski area in the world: The Trois Vallees. It isn't down market, but not too expensive like neighbouring Courchevel. The apres ski and entertainment (Jacks Bar, Rond Point, Altitude Festival) is superb. Lot's of brits here. Chalets are more fun than large tour operators, Meribel has the greatest choice.
